TOM KENNY

B.A.(Hons) M.Arch PG.Dip ARB RIBA
Tom completed his studies in Architecture and Landscape Design at the Sheffield School of Architecture in the UK, and has since gained exceptional architectural training and experience in various countries and sectors. Tom is a registered Architect in the UK (ARB) and an active member of the professional body RIBA. He is taking steps toward becoming AIBC registered.
With the recent initiative of developing a project quality platform that facilitates collaboration through core, lean principles, Tom has been busy leading design projects in Canada, New Zealand and the UK. Projects have varied in complexity and are spread across the Entertainment & Leisure, Institutional and Residential sectors. Tom has achieved this through a number of roles including Project Architect, Senior Design Manager, and Director of a small company.
Tom's design portfolio expresses a creative passion for overcoming operational, environmental and social challenges through grounded ideas and strong diagrammatic reasoning. In his ability to think sideways, he draws on his practical experience in operations, planning, conservation, energy efficiency, modern building materials and techniques. This, combined with his keen eye for technical and cost-effective detailing brings integrity into his designs.
